Finally the big event is here. We are all set to stun the NED with our performances. We have got the performances lined up one after the other. We have got the food to satisfy your taste buds. In short, we have got everything that you want. See you tomorrow.

Here is a good news for all those T.E. civilians attending the farewell. The B.E. Civilians had announced that the picture of the T.E. Civilians participating in the Farewell will be included in the magazine Silver Lining 2010. This will be the token of appreciation by our seniors. Lets work together to earn this token. We have got mere 6 days at most to complete our preparations. So join hands to make our event a memorable one.
Immediately after the Farewell the whole Civil Department i.e. from F.E. to B.E. will be going to take a break from the everyday hectic schedule. This respite comes to us in the form of picnic arranged by the B.E. Civilians to everybody's' favorite spot "The Dream World".
The generosity of our seniors didn't stop at including the picture in magazine of those in T.E. involved in Farewell. The Organizers of this picnic have demonstrated their generosity by announcing that the those in T.E. involved in Farewell will get the ticket for Rs. 600 while the rest of T.E. would get the ticket at Rs. 650. N.B. Rs. 650 is the price at which the ticket will be available to F.E and S.E.
These two events, Farewell and the picnic, are the most anticipated event by all the Civilians. These events will provide us with relaxation which we need most at the present time.

Seminar for the T.E. Civilians

Well guys the wheels are set in motion. It's the time for all the T.E. Civilians to brace themselves for the barrage of activities and unlimited fun to follow.
The first activity in our fun calendar is bidding FAREWELL to our senior i.e. the B.E. Civilians which will take place on 26 May, 2010 in Civil's Lecture Hall. Now this is a chance for all the T.E. Civilians to come forward and shine. This time all the T.E. Civilians are the organizers. This time guys you wouldn't be buying the ticket to sit in the audience. This will be your first event and when I say yours then i literally mean YOURS. The magnitude of success depends on all of you. Come ahead and feel the taste of organizing an event.
Now here is something about the event.This will be a traditional farewell with a big BUT. This will surely be a farewell like others before us have given BUT the quality of the event will be its best. Some of the features which will make this farewell a distinguishing one include

• complete lunch which will satisfy your taste buds
• invitation and, hopefully, the presence of the Faculty members
• better performances and activities during the event.

 What all of you have to understand is that this event will be nothing and doomed to failure without the participation of the organizers i.e. the T.E. Civilians. Hence your participation and your earnest efforts in making this event a hit beyond doubt would be required.
Concluding some of the things which need your most urgent attention are

• Collection of money. Try and make sure that everyone pay Rs. 300 by the end of next week. Its everyone's duty to ensure that all their friends and not-friends are coming.
• Preparation of the activities. It is imperative and really necessary for everyone to get busy preparing for activities. These activities could consist of anything interesting which you could think of. Pen your ideas and let us know but do start doing something in this regards. 

Lets hope for the best and get ourselves working on it.

All those waiting for the grand event, well here it comes... All of you get yourselves prepared and brace yourselves to start working hard for bidding FAREWELL to the B.E. Civilians and wishing them all the best in the future.

Well everyone this is the event which will be succeeded by other better events in the future. This will be requiring us to stand and work unitedly. Note well guys that this is our event and we have to ensure that this event touches the sky of success. Just next year we ourselves will be receiving the FAREWELL so leave no stone unturned in making this event a memorable one for everyone.

For information, tremendous difficulties and hurdles have already emerged in front of us even before the actual start with the preparations for the event. We have been restricted and forced to do this event on a smaller scale than we originally planned. However we are not those to lose hope at such petty matters. Your participation and support will be required more than anything.
